Access Nevada County Inmate Records

Nevada County inmate records are searched first through the sheriff's jail roster, then through state or federal systems if the person has moved out of local custody. A Nevada County jail roster search can show current inmates, recent releases, booking photos, booking numbers, dates, charges, and profile links. The county roster does not replace court filings, state prison records, or federal detention tools, so a complete lookup may require the jail phone line, Search ARCourts, Arkansas DOC, VINELink, BOP, or ICE.

Nevada County Jail Roster

The official Nevada County Sheriff inmate roster is the main local source for Nevada County inmate records. It lists current inmates and has a released-inmates path for recent releases. The research pass fetched a roster title showing 56 current inmates on May 29, 2026, but that number changes as people are booked, released, bonded, sentenced, or transferred.

The roster covers the Nevada County Jail, not every custody system that may hold a Nevada County case. If a person has been sentenced to Arkansas DOC custody, the state locator is the better search path. If the matter is federal, use the BOP locator after federal custody begins. If it is immigration detention, use ICE ODLS. Court charges and filed dispositions are checked through Search ARCourts or the local clerk, not through the jail roster alone.

Use Nevada County Inmate Roster

The sheriff roster can be searched without a login. It supports name search, current and released filters, date sorting, and individual profile links. The page does not publish wildcard rules, so try last name first, first name second, and Show All when spelling is uncertain. For a very recent arrest, the person may be in intake before the public roster catches up.

  1. Open the official sheriff roster or the current-inmates sorted page.
  2. Enter a first or last name in Search By Name, then run the search.
  3. Use Current for active custody or Released for a recent bond, transfer, or discharge.
  4. Open View Profile to see the booking photo, booking number, age, booking date, arresting agency, charges, and bond warning.
  5. Call jail staff before posting bond because the profile says bail amounts and charges may change after court appearances.

Nevada County Roster Search Fields

The roster controls are more like filters than a formal database form. Name and date controls organize the list, while Current and Released switch between active custody and recent-release views. Pagination appeared during inspection, so a person may be on a later page even when Show All is used.

Nevada County Inmate Profile Fields

The public profile is a reduced version of the jail record. It is useful for a quick custody check, but it does not show every field the jail may maintain internally under Arkansas detention standards. The inspected sample did not show full street address, date of birth, Social Security number, housing unit, court date, warrant number, detailed case number, or projected release date.

FieldWhat It Shows
NameFull name as the profile heading.
MugshotBooking photo on the list and profile.
Booking #Local booking identifier, with examples like 22-026 or 25-442.

Bail noteWarning to contact detention staff for current bail amount, charges, and case numbers.

Nevada County Booking Process

Nevada County does not publish a detailed local intake guide, but the roster and jail page show the working path. Arrests may come from the sheriff, Prescott Police, another agency, probation or parole, Arkansas DOC, or a court warrant. Once a person reaches the jail, the public record can show a booking number, booking date and time, mugshot, age, charges, arresting agency, and profile link.

Arkansas jail standards provide useful background. The jail-log rule requires detention records with intake and population data, demographics, arrest, confinement and release times, reason for confinement, offense class, arresting officers, and warrant or commitment data. Those standards do not mean every field appears online. For older records or fields not posted publicly, use the sheriff's office or records custodian under Arkansas FOIA, subject to exemptions.

Nevada County Jail vs DOC

The county jail and state prison systems answer different questions. The sheriff roster is for local custody at the Nevada County Jail. The Arkansas Department of Corrections locator is for state custody and ADC placement. A person sentenced in Nevada County may stay in the county jail while waiting on a state bed, then later appear in the DOC system.

The VINELink portal was captured successfully for the project and is useful when a family member or victim needs alerts instead of repeatedly checking roster pages.

Nevada County Bond Records

The strongest bond instruction is on the roster profile warning. It says charges and bail amounts may change after court appearances and may not be current. Bond companies and people wishing to post bail should contact Detention Center staff at 870-887-2616 for the correct bail amount, charges, and case numbers.

Nevada County Jail Facility

The local facility for Nevada County inmate records is the Nevada County Jail. The sheriff's jail page says the facility opened in June 2016 after the old jail became outdated. It has sheriff offices in the front and the detention area in the back. Official sources did not locate a separate Prescott city jail, Arkansas DOC prison, BOP prison, or ICE detention facility inside Nevada County.

Nevada County Jail Visits

Nevada County uses video-only visitation through monitors in the front lobby of the Sheriff's Office and Jail. The official visitation page says visits are by appointment, require 24-hour advance notice, and inmates are allowed one 20-minute visit per week. The scheduling contact is Secretary Ashley Isley at 870-887-2616. If she is unavailable, callers are told to leave a name and phone number.

Older Nevada County Inmate Records

No Nevada County-specific public-records request form, fee schedule, or processing-time page was located on the sheriff site. For older booking records, incident records, or mugshot copies not posted online, use the sheriff's office or records custodian under Arkansas FOIA. The contact form is useful for non-urgent messages, but the sheriff contact page says urgent matters should go to 911 or the office because email is not monitored around the clock.

For filed court charges, use Search ARCourts and then the Nevada County Circuit Clerk or District Court for copies that are not online. Arkansas Administrative Order 19 limits some internet access to court records, so an online search gap does not always mean no case exists.
